The history and soul of the house

At the turn of the last century, this magnificent building was built as one of the first hotels in the Thannenkirch health resort.

After the Second World War, numerous renovations were carried out.

In the 1990s, the house was again extensively renovated to ecological standards and became a guesthouse called "La Sapinière".

In 2018, Dagmar Vith acquired the house and modernized it to bring it back to its origins: a lovely guest house with individual, spacious and idyllic rooms.

In 2022, we (Nadège and Jérome) bought "La Sapinière" and renamed it "Le Manoir des Sens". Our aim is to preserve the house's soul of calm and tranquillity, while adding values that are close to our hearts, such as a sense of conviviality and contact with nature, and our benevolence.

Bergheim beer

Beer brewed for Le Manoir des Sens with organic hops and organic malt from the Maltala organic malt house in Bergheim. Brewed by Brasserie Artisanale de Rodemack.
At Manoir des Sens, we aim to promote local produce through our breakfasts and groceries.

For the record, Nadège is originally from Rodemack, a small village in Moselle, and used to enjoy the tasty beers from the local brewery.
So, when Le Manoir des Sens opened, we naturally asked our favorite brewer to make us a beer in the image of Le Manoir. We wanted this beer to have character
character, and it was important for us to use organic and local products in its production.
That's why we naturally approached the Bergheim organic malt factory.
Thus was born Bergheim beer, brewed in Nadège's home village with organic
products.
The name "bière de Bergheim" comes from the originality of the company's postal address, which is located behind the Thannenkirch road sign, but on the outskirts of Bergheim.

Now that you know everything, enjoy your tasting!
